Com nove indicações, Katy Perry lidera disputa pelo VMA

A cantora Katy Perry lidera as indicações do Video Music Awards, premiação de videoclipes da MTV norte-americana, concorrendo em nove categorias. Os indicados foram divulgados nesta quarta-feira (20).

 

Quatro clipes da cantora foram indicados. O principal deles é "Firework", que está na disputa por clipe do ano e melhor clipe feminino. "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)", "E.T." e "Teenage Dream" também foram lembrados.

A britânica Adele, com "Rolling In The Deep", e o rapper Kanye West, com "All Of The Lights" e "Power", foram lembrados com cinco indicações cada. Completam a categoria de clipe do ano o rapper Tyler, The Creator, com "Yonkers", o cantor Bruno Mars, com "Grenade", e o grupo Beastie Boys, com "Make Some Noise".

Grande vencedora do VMA 2010, Lady Gaga recebeu apenas três indicações, com "Born This Way" concorrendo a melhor clipe feminino e "Judas" a coreografia e direção de arte. Beyoncé também disputa apenas três categorias com "Run The World (Girls)", enquanto Britney Spears teve apenas duas indicações por "Till The World Ends". Justin Bieber por sua vez, só recebeu uma.
