Com as hashtags #likebaby e #dontdeletebaby, e a expressão Dear Youtube, no Trending Topics mundial, os fãs mandam seus recados, alguns até em tom ameaça. "Dear YouTube #dontdeletebaby or 11 million beliebers will attack you!" (Querido YouTube, não delete Baby ou 11 milhões de beliebers vão te atacar), escreveu uma fã, enquanto outra disse que "the world war 3 is about to Begin" (a 3ª guerra mundial está pronta pra começar).

Em resposta a todo esse barulho, a equipe do YouTube se manifestou na conta oficial no Twitter pedindo que as fãs não se preocupassem, pois o clipe ainda está lá. O site ainda pede para que troquem a hashtag #dontdeletebaby para #musicmondaybaby.
O YouTube costuma deletar vídeos que infrinjam direitos autorais ou semeiem mensagens de ódio, preconceito e racismo - o que não é o caso de Baby, que está publicado no canal oficial do cantor.

Miley Cyrus vem mesmo ao Brasil, porém não é para fazer show. A cantora é a garota-propaganda campanha Miley Cyrus Eu Quero Sym e virá ao Brasil no final do primeiro semestre de 2011, para um evento organizado pela empresa Santher.
